Right. So, the layout is just one of the initial selections. If you want some of the widgets, go to your customize tab. You can then "add" stuff under where your side and bottom panels are. I like searching through them (which you can do afte you click on the add) and finding stuff that might interest me, and might help everyone in the class. I don't mind at all answering questions. ^_^ let me know if you have any trouble.
